Description
Traditional South African boerewors is a coarse-ground sausage containing at least 90% meat (typically 2:1 beef to pork/fat) seasoned heavily with toasted coriander, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, salt, pepper, and vinegar. The meat is coarsely minced, mixed with spices, and stuffed into casings, then often spiraled for cooking, preferably on a braai (barbecue)
